Jeff graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and moved to Arkansas to accept a position with Entergy Corporation. During his years with Entergy Corp., Jeff held several positions which included managerial responsibility. In 1996, the agency founder, Jim Greene, asked Jeff to join James Greene & Associates as an agent. Jeff accepted the position. In the subsequent years, Jeff worked in customer service, information systems & technology, and finance and administration. In 2002, he assumed the position of agency president, and in September of 2015, he became Chief Executive Officer. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family and outdoor activities.

Frances BruceFrances BruceExecutive Assistant
Frances joined James Greene & Associates in 2000 and is the Executive Assistant for the agency president. She also has her Life & Health license and can assist those who need international health insurance. Frances currently writes insurance through International Medical Group, Inc., which can insure short term, as well as long term health insurance in most countries. In her free time, Frances enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Kurt Hetherington, CIC, CRM, CPIAKurt HetheringtonPresident
Kurt started his career with James Greene & Associates in 1994. His first position was as an agent in western Tennessee. He also served in middle Tennessee and areas in Arkansas. Kurt was then promoted to Sales Manager. In 2008, he took the position of Vice President of Sales & Marketing, and then in July of 2015, Executive Vice-President. Most recently, he was promoted to President by the CEO, Jeff Brantly. He earned the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 1997 and the CRM (Certified Risk Manager) designation in 2009. He has also earned the CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Agent) designation from Professional Insurance Agents. Kurt currently serves as President of Professional Insurance Agents of Arkansas (PIAAR). In 2013, he was the recipient of the Randy Henry Excellence in Service Award. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Kurt also received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Western Michigan University. When he is not working, Kurt enjoys spending time with his family, as well as watching and playing sports.

Gwyn Jowers, CPIAGwyn JowersSales Manager
Gwyn joined James Greene & Associates in 1999 as a producer. Gwyn has over sixteen years of experience in the insurance industry. He earned the agency’s “Top Producer” award five times in the following eight years. His role with the agency changed in 2007, and he was promoted to sales manager. In his current role, Gwyn directs the company’s sales program, as well as assigns sales territories, sets goals, and establishes training programs for the agency’s sales representatives. In 2013 Gwyn earned the CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Agent) designation from Professional Insurance Agents. He enjoys outdoor activities with his family and is very involved with coaching youth sports.

Mike StoferMike StoferSales Manager
Mike joined the James Greene & Associates family in 2016 as the Sales Manager in MS, TN, KY, MO, KS, and TX. Prior to coming to JGA, Mike worked for several years with a national insurance company, and worked for sixteen years in real estate as a top-producing sales agent, and as the owner/broker of two national real estate franchise offices in Hot Springs, AR. He holds an active real estate broker’s license, life/health and property/casualty insurance licenses, and is working on his CIC designation. Mike graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Religious Studies, and attended seminary at SMU. When away from the office he enjoys traveling and the study of biblical archaeology and Christian history.

Janice Smith, CIC, CPIAJanice SmithVice President of Underwriting
Janice joined James Greene & Associates in 1998, and has worked in a variety of roles within the agency. She has served as vice president of underwriting since 2003 and has over thirty years of management and human resource experience. Janice also has ten years experience as a tax auditor for the state of Arkansas. Janice holds a CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation from the National Alliance. She has also earned the CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Agent) designation from Professional Insurance Agents. Prior to joining James Greene & Associates, she worked in ministry at her local church.

Natalie Holderfield, CISRNatalie HolderfieldClient Services Manager
Natalie came to James Greene & Associates in 2009 with over ten years of customer service experience. She holds a multiline insurance license and has earned her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Central Arkansas. She was named the JGA Outstanding Customer Service Representative in 2010, and again in 2014. In January 2015, Natalie was promoted from Account Manager to Senior Underwriting Assistant, and then in September of 2015, she was promoted to Client Service Manager. Outside of work, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family.
